Most fans would probably agree that the cage match is one of the most violent, exciting matches in wrestling. So for wrestling fans who prefer "sports" over "entertainment," WWE Hell in a Cell is one of the best pay-per-views of the year. Take a closer look at my predictions for WWE Hell in a Cell 2012.
Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio
This Hell in a Cell match features two WWE wrestlers who have been pushed so much in the past I don't know how either is still standing upright. His Hell in a Cell victory should be a catalyst for Randy Orton to get yet another opportunity to prove he can carry the WWE.
Prediction: Randy Orton defeats Alberto Del Rio

WWE Tag Team Championship: Daniel Bryan and Kane vs. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow
I hate the latest WWE trend of putting "team" in front of tag teams' names, so I refuse to do so. Both of these teams feature wrestlers who are over with WWE fans, so it's hard to imagine either losing at Hell in a Cell. But Kane and Daniel Bryan are white hot and they will retain the gold.
Prediction: Daniel Bryan and Kane defeat Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow
Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz
I don't believe that Kofi Kingston was ever supposed to become Intercontinental Champion. But when he delivered that stiff kick to The Miz on Raw, the WWE had no choice but to make Kofi a temporary champion. However, I predict The Miz will get his title back at Hell in a Cell.
Prediction: The Miz defeats Kofi Kingston
World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus vs. Big Show
Until Big Show actually wins one of his overhyped WWE pay-per-view title matches, I refuse to predict victory for the behemoth. The WWE is clearly giving its champions longer title reigns and Hell in a Cell will see Sheamus somehow hang on to his title a while longer.
Prediction: Sheamus defeats Big Show
Divas Championship: Eve vs. Layla vs. Kaitlyn
I'm surprised the WWE even booked this match for Hell in a Cell. As usual, nobody is interested in the WWE Divas division, as this feud is generating zero buzz. I predict Eve will retain the Divas Championship at Hell in a Cell in a match that is sure to sell a lot of popcorn.
Prediction: Eve defeats Layla and Kaitlyn
WWE Championship: CM Punk vs. Ryback
I would bet my left arm on a prediction that CM Punk will defeat Ryback at Hell in a Cell. However, I wouldn't bet two dollars on predicting how it will happen. The WWE needs Ryback to stay hot, so the Hell in a Cell finish needs to be controversial. Perhaps CM Punk will form a surprise alliance for outside interference that will also set up a traditional Survivor Series main event.
